I can't think of any business alive today that couldn't benefit from at least a minor presence on the web. Now that I've made that statement, I'm sure someone will point out one. You don't need an elaborate website unless you are getting into ecommerce - selling goods and services on the web.

Don't worry initially about how great a site it is or how many people are going to visit it. Just get up and running.
