What Makes You A Saint

Don't be confused that a saint is a religious leader sort of person who has a particular way of dressing and a lonely life-style. Instead, a saint is a person who leads a simple disciplined life with a motto of "Service Above Self". He is a person who has crossed the barrier that bars from being spiritual. So, if you want to become a saint then you have to work towards crossing the threshold that will lead you into spirituality.

A saint is least concerned about his own problems but is always active to solve the problems and sufferings of his fellow beings. This means you can become a saint if you don't blame others for the ill-circumstances but always try to change the surroundings and create a positive environment for all. So, help the poor, care the sick and the old and never do injustice.

Take the case of our beloved Mother Teresa. She was not bound to any particular region or religion. This is one of the important characteristic of a saint. So, if want to be same then treat all the humans equally irrespective of their caste, creed or color.

FORGIVENESS is yet another quality of a saint. So, you can be a saint if you forgive those who do injustice to you. It is very difficult but all stones wither if there is a will to achieve something.

CHARITY will also make you a saint. Charity does not require you to be a very rich person. You can give food, clothes and whatever you can afford to destitute. You will really benefit from charity if you don't do this for gaining fame.

Therefore, to attain above qualities, you need a great WILL POWER. And this can be achieved by having faith in omni-presence of Supreme Power i.e. God. Nothing is hidden from him. So, always do good deeds. He is always there to help you if you are right. So, if your will to serve the humans is a genuine one, he will definitely pave the way for it.

Many of these points you already follow. Follow the rest and increase the spread. All the best and may God shower His help and blessings on you for your great endeavor.
